Raging wildfires
In the dead of night
Ashes flicker in the air
My body is torn
Burning up
In flourishing blue flame

An overflow of constant

Bronze coil tightening
Around soft skin
The shifting of warmth
Amongst newfound lovers
In the tangle of sheets
On a tiring dawn
The ideal of roses
And the glass full of hearts
Fall prey to the harsh reality
Of a star filled night.
And tonight,
Maybe these
Streetlights
Will finally
Heal
Us.

That birds would fly
Past these windows
Looking for life
In shadows
Long gone
Pale moonlight
Brings it to life
Wings take flight
Magic is in the air

Race
That this world cares for.
You were the light to my sun
The reason for me being
The chemicals inside me created you
